Cairdeas is the gaelic word for friendship or ‘the condition of being friends.’ Designed with my knitting friends in mind, Cairdeas is a lovely triangular shawl, knit from the top down and finished with a knit-on edging. It’s the perfect accessory for you or for one of your very best friends!

The original design used 2 skeins of Spincycle’s Dyed in the Wool in a For Yarn’s Sake exclusive colorway “Goddess Above the Clouds,” and 2 skeins of Knitted Wit’s Featherweight Rambouillet “Naked.
