Caiseal Hat
Jetzt auch auf Deutsch erhältlich!!
For cold winter days, it is important that your head is kept especially warm. With super bulky yarn and a stitch pattern that creates a dense fabric, this hat is just what you need.
As it is worked on very large needles as well, it works up superfast, in case there are any surprise snow excursions.
The grey colour and herringbone pattern remind me of stone patterns in Irish ringforts, which is where the name comes from. Caiseal is an Irish word for ringfort, also known in the anglicized version Cashel.
