Caitlin shawl is a half circle shawl with a beautiful cable border.

Construction : Caitlin shawl starts at the center back of the neck with a garter tab and is knit down to the bottom edge. After the body is completed, a knitted-on border is attached at right angles to the body.

Size and yardage : I used approximately 980 yards (900 m) of worsted weight yarn and my shawl ended up to be 51” (130 cm) wide by 29” (75 cm) deep after blocking.

Le châle Caitlin est un châle semi-circulaire avec une belle bordure à motifs torsadés.

Construction : Il est tricoté du haut vers le bas puis la bordure est ajoutée perpendiculairement au corps du châle et raccordée 1 rang sur 2 en tricotant ensemble une maille du corps du châle avec une maille de la bordure.

Après blocage, il mesure environ 130 sur 75 cm.
