Knit in the round with a tight gauge in fingering weight yarn, these stranded colorwork mittens incorporate elements from traditional Scandinavian mitten designs, including a 1x1 corrugated rib cuff, thumb gusset on the palm, and a pointed top. The mitten body features a two-color diagonal grid and skull motif, with a smaller scale geometric pattern on the palm. Project photos show optional embroidery embellishment inspired by Day of the Dead calavera costumes. Instruction for the embroidery is not included.
