Caleido Cardigan
Description: Caleido Cardigan is crochet cardigan where have been used many different stitches to create different texture and have more fun in creating. I used a gradient wool that adds a variety of colours to the distinctive stitches.
The pattern is made to measure and size inclusive pattern, this means you measure yourself or the person you are making your garment for and then you can follow the pattern instructions accordingly.
Gauge: 18 double crochets for 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Hook: 5 mm
Stitch guide: chain, slip stich, single crochet, double crochet, treble, front post treble stitch, back post treble stitch and crab stitch.
Level: Intermediate
Materials: I used 8 skeins of Laines du Nord Caleido, (800 gr), Colour 112 for a size S (provide an extra skein for the other sizes), a crochet hook, a tapestry needle, stitch markers (optional)
Cardigan explanation:
The Cardigan is worked flat vertically, starting from the first front side to the back, leaving two holes for the armpit then the second front side. The sleeves are worked in the round. Everything is refined in the end working the collar with treble back and post stitches and the rim with a crab stitch.
