Caleidoscopia Cowl is knit in the round, top-down, and seamless.
There are different options for the upper and lower edges, while the central section is worked in two-color brioche with some puff stitch modifications. This is a quicker and simpler version of the Caleidoscopia Shawl making it perfect for those new to brioche who want a beautiful project or for knitters with limited time.

BEGINNER – INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Although this project is faster to knit than the Caleidoscopia shawl, it does require close attention on some rows. You don’t need to be an expert, but it’s recommended that you have knit at least one brioche project before. In any case, there are nine support videos available to help you with the “trickier stitches”.

YARNS.
122 grams of yarn were used in total:
Color A (blue): 91g (273 meters).
100% hand-dyed Corriedale wool.
300 meters/100 grams.

Color B (white): 31g (104 meters).
50% Merino wool, 50% Angora.
330 meters/100 grams.

The yarn requirements are based on the largest version, with a cast-on of 104 stitches and both edges (upper and lower) worked as double borders. It’s recommended to use the darker or
more vibrant color as CA, and the lighter one as CB.

GAUGE AND FINAL MEASUREMENTS.
10x10cm: 15 sts x 19 rounds.
The gauge swatch was measured in a section of two-color smooth brioche knitted in the round, using a 4.00 mm
needle, and after a very gentle blocking.

Length: 30 cm.
Upper Edge: 55 cm.
Lower Edge: 86 cm.

El cuello Caleidoscopia se teje en circular, desde arriba hacia abajo y sin costuras. Existen diferentes opciones para los bordes superior e inferior, en tanto que la sección central se teje en punto biroche de 2 colores, con algunas modificaciones en punto puff. Se trata de una versión más rápida y sencilla del “Caleidoscopia shawl”, ideal para iniciarte en el mundo del brioche con algo bonito o para tejer si dispones de poco tiempo.

NIVEL PRINCIPIANTE – INTERMEDIO.
Aunque es mucho más rápido de tejer que Caleidoscopia shawl, requiere que estés muy concentrado en algunas vueltas. No es necesario que seas un experto, pero es mejor que hayas tejido al menos una prenda en la técnica de brioche anteriormente. En todo caso tienes nueve vídeos de apoyo para los puntos que pueden requerir de más ayuda.

HILADOS.
Se han usado 122 gramos de hilado:
Color A (azul): 91g (273 metros).
100% lana corriedale teñida a mano.
300 metros/100 gramos.

Color B (blanco): 31g (104 metros).
50% lana merino, 50% angora.
330 metros/100 gramos.

Los cálculos para la cantidad de hilado requerido están hechos a partir del modelo más grande, con un montaje de 104 puntos y ambos bordes (superior e inferior) dobles. Se recomienda usar el color más oscuro o intenso como CA y el más claro como CB.

MUESTRA DE TENSIÓN Y MEDIDAS FINALES.
10x10cm: 15 puntos x 19 vueltas.
La muestra de tensión ha sido medida en una sección de punto brioche liso de dos colores tejida en circular, con aguja de 4,00 mm y después de un bloqueo muy suave.

Largo: 30 cm.
Borde superior: 55 cm.
Borde inferior: 86 cm.
