What’s the deal with brioche? No one knows exactly what this stitch does to our needles, but we all know that it’s best never to be without a brioche shawl in our lives, and the more, the better.
Caleidoscopia is a blend of traditional brioche with a little bit of this and a little bit of that; something special to knit when you DON’T want to pay attention to anything else but yourself, your thoughts, and your knitting…

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL.
Caleidoscopia is a shawl that combines traditional brioche with other stitch patterns. It’s not difficult, but it does require close attention, and some rows (not all) can be quite detailed. It’s suitable for intermediate knitters—but only if you’re ready to focus fully on your knitting. If you’re after a ‘Netflix-friendly’ pattern… this one might not be for you.

YARNS.
Approximately 322 grams of fingering yarn (400m/100g), 100% merino:
138g/552m Color A (CA) (dark blue).
101g/404m Color B (CB) (light blue).
83g/332m Color C (CC) (cream).

Finished measurements after aggressive blocking.
214cm wingspan and 62cm in from cast-on edge to centre tip.
Used metal circular needles, size 4.00mm (US 6) and 4.25mm (or 4.50mm) cables ranging from 25 to 180cm, and 3 stitch markers.

¿Qué nos pasa con el brioche? Nadie sabe exactamente qué produce este punto en nuestras agujas, pero todos sabemos que es mejor que jamás falte un shawl de brioche en nuestras vidas, y sin es más de uno tanto mejor.

Caleidoscopia es un chal que combina el brioche tradicional con otros patrones de puntadas. No es difícil, pero sí requiere mucha atención y algunas vueltas (no todas) pueden ser bastante detalladas. Es adecuado para tejedores de nivel intermedio, pero solo si buscas concentrarte por completo en tu tejido. Si buscas un patrón “apto para Netflix”, es posible que este no sea para ti…

HILADOS.
Aproximadamente 322 gramos de hilado fingering (400m/100g), 100% merino:
138g/552m Color A (CA) (azul oscuro).
101g/404m Color B (CB) (azul claro).
83g/332m gramos Color C (CC) (crudo).

DIMENSIONES luego de un bloqueo agresivo.
214cm de envergadura y 62cm en su parte más ancha.
Se utilizaron agujas de metal circulares, calibre 4,00mm (6US) y 4,25 (o 4,50mm) cables de entre 25 a 180cm, y 3 marcadores de punto.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL PATRÓN.
--> Con abreviaturas en todas las páginas.
--> Sin gráficos.
--> Tamaño A4 para imprimir.
--> Con vídeos para los puntos que requieren más ayuda.
