Calendar socks
This pattern is a set of toe up instructions meant to accompany my sock calendar graphs. Construction starts with a Turkish cast on, has the easiest pre-planned heel and ends with a mildly stretchy bind off. The graphs were designed for indivisible creativity. Use them all at once making an advent calendar sock or maybe as a repeat. Try them on the leg in a short sock. The choice is yours.
MATERIALS:
Yarn: 190 yards of fingering weight yarn, preferably 100% wool. The samples were knit with Knitpicks Palette.
Needles: Size 2-4 for working in the round (One long circular, DPNs, 2 circulars, etc.)
Notions: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Specialty stitches/techniques: Turkish cast on, slip knot cast on, Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off.
Gauge: 7-8 st/14 rows=1” stockinette stitch
