This pattern was first published in March 2018, but has now been updated with preemie and newborn sizes.

This is a comfortable piece with a classic design that never goes out of style.
It’s thoughtfully designed to include preemie and newborn sizes.
This baby cardigan is worked from the top down with raglan shaping from the top down in stocking stitch. Stitch counting charts for the raglan increases are given for each size in the pattern.
This knitting tutorial also has size color codes and check up boxes to help you through your knitting project.
PATTERN INFORMATION:
- Available Sizes: teeny newborn (±2,250Kg/±5 lbs), tiny newborn (±2,700Kg/±6 lbs), small newborn (±3,150kg/±7 lbs), newborn (±3,600kg/±8 lbs), 0-1 months, 1-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months.
- Construction: Knitted flat.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner.
- Yarn: DK weight yarn.
- Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 125-500 meters depending on size.
- Needles:
- 3,5mm (US4) and 3mm (US2,5) circular needles with approx. 60-80cm (24”-32”)
- 3,5mm (US 4) and 3mm (US 2,5) shorties or double pointed needles (optional if you are knitting the sleeves in the round)
- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases, picking up stitches. -Languages: English and Portuguese.
