This sweater features a small cutout at the neckline and has a slightly oversized fit.

This Sweater is worked top down. You start at the neck and shape the back using the German Short Rows technique. Then you pick up sts at the shoulders and German Short Rows are worked again to shape the front. You then work to shape the neckline. The Sweater is closed in the round under the arms and worked in rounds. The sleeve sts are picked up and shaped using short rows again. Everything is finished off with 1x1 ribbing and Italian bind off.

Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8)

To fit bust circumference: 75 (85) 95 (105) 115 (125) 135 (145) cm / 30 (34) 38 (42) 46 (50) 54 (58)’’

Bust circumference sweater: 100 (110) 120 (130) 140 (150) 155 (160) cm / 39.5 (43.25) 47.25 (51.25) 55 (59) 61 (63)’’

When in between sizes, I recommend sizing up for a modern oversized look.

Positive ease: 15-25 cm / 8-10’’ (depending on the size)

Needles:
4.0 mm (US 6) and 3.0 mm (US 2.5) circular needles
or needle size needed to achieve gauge.

Gauge: 21 sts x 35 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4’’ x 4’’ using 4.0 mm (US 6) needles in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking.

Row gauge is especially important for this project in order for the cutout to show up nicely. I recommend making a big gauge swatch and adjusting your needle size if necessary. Your row gauge should be between 32-37 sts 10 cm / 4’’.
