Calicante is a lace scarf in a long trapezoid shape with each end tapered alike. It starts with increasing stitches until it has enough stitches to work evenly for a while, and then decreases to finish. The lace on each side is slightly different, but equally gorgeous, so that you can enjoy both sides.
