A classic & cozy round-neck raglan pullover, knit bottom up, in-the-round, with seamless construction. Four neckline options make this a four-season sweater! A fun & fast weekend knit in bulky-weight yarn, and a great beginner’s first sweater project, great for women, men, teens, ‘tweens, kids.

For for the experienced, pattern is readily modified for stripes, cables, lace panel, even all-over textures, as end-of-round is centered-at-side up to underarm. Pattern includes a substitution chart for bulky - DK weight yarns, with many options for pullover variations and modifications.

Sizes are of actual garment. Take into account that your fit will be determined on how much stretch (negative ease) you desire; for example, a form fitting garment usually has some negative ease of at least 1-2” through the bust & shoulders, so choose your size based on slightly smaller than either torso (measurement at underarm around chest) or full bust. Making a swatch is essential if you want a successful garment that fits you well.

Light green prototype in photo shows “Summer” full depth neckline, dark blue shows “Spring” half depth, “Autumn” 3/4 neckline is not shown, and cream color shows “Winter” high crew neckline

Most recent pattern update is Oct 8, 2017. If you are working from a pdf dated earlier you have an out-dated pattern.

It is essential to make a proper gauge swatch. If you knit at all loosely, you may need to go down a needle size. Be sure to make a proper circular-knit (in-the-round) & wet-blocked gauge swatch so that you can have an accurate fit, and change needle sizes and garment size if necessary. Please see my tutorial on 3-in-1 Swatch to get a thorough & more exact stitch-gauge swatch.
