California Dreamin' Cowl
This is a triangular shaped cowl that is worked flat with turning rows of textured stitches then assembles by folding and overlapping the short ends, secure and choice of trimming. The stitches have a boho feel to them and the trimming can either be a fringe or Picot lace scallops all around the cowls bottom edge. The bulky weight yarn makes this is a cozy piece that can be worn with a jacket or without to add a stylish element to your outfit.
The cowl fits as a v-neck just up to the shoulders and down to the chest.
I used two different Bulky yarns in my samples: Caron X Pantone and Lion Brand Color Made Easy (1 skein). However, any bulky (5) weight yarn will work.
Opional items: beads on the fringe.
