The California Sweater is a drop-shoulder pullover, perfect for wearing on a chilly beach day, at a backyard barbeque, or when the air is crisp and cool.

The California Sweater is knit top-down, with fingering and lace weight (preferably Suri Alpaca) yarn held together on large needles to create an open-gauge fabric. It has a tapered sleeve and a slightly cropped fit in the body.
