This design was inspired by Calimero, the little black chick who is the main character of a cartoon I particularly loved in my childhood. This pattern is super easy and it offers many possibilities to play with colors: you can make it plain, striped, and everything in between! You can also choose between 2 lengths: fitted or slouchy. The slouchy version can be worn 2 ways; slouchy or fitted double thick if you fold the brim inward. Featured in five sizes from baby to adult large, this colorful hat can be paired with the matching cowl, Carnaval 5, to make small and big chicks warm and happy!

The top is closed seamlessly while knitting. Just an invisible seam is required after the hat is completely knitted. To make it super easy, I made a photo tutorial, included in the pattern! This tutorial also clearly explain, in many pictures, how to perfectly recreate the slipped stitch selvedge to make the grafting really invisible!

Voici Calimero, la tuque inspirée par son homonyme, le petit poussin noir d’un dessin animé que j’ai tant aimé étant enfant! Ce patron est super facile et il offre plusieurs options pour jouer avec les couleurs: uni, rayé, avec une bande contrastante, etc. De plus, deux options de longueurs sont disponibles: ajustée ou lousse. La version lousse permet aussi de porter la tuque double épaisseur en repliant la moitié vers l’intérieur. Disponible en cinq grandeur allants de bébé à homme, cette tuque colorée peut être portée avec le col qui s’agence, Carnaval 5, pour un extra chaleur qui rendra les petits et grands poussins heureux!

Le dessus de la tête est fermé à mesure du tricot! Seulement une couture invisible est requise à la fin complètement et j’ai préparé un tutoriel photo, inclus dans le patron, pour vous rendre la tâche super facile! Ce tutoriel explique aussi, en plusieurs photos, comment recréer la lisière du point glissée parfaitement!
