Call the Midwife for Hetty
Designer knitting pattern based on the 1950’s crochet pattern that was used in the television series “Call the Midwife”. My pattern emulates a crochet look but is entirely hand knitted. The blanket /shawl is knitted in one piece with a separate sew on border. The pattern is knitted on 4.50mm needles and any double knitting wool, using the slightly larger than normal knitting needles gives a loosely knitted look to emulate crochet. You will need 300gs of wool approx. 850 metres. The blanket/shawl can be made in a smaller or larger size than in the printed pattern and details are on the pattern how to do this.
