The Callie Cowl is a quick and easy crochet project for adults using lovely chunky yarn in pretty colours and a 12mm hook.

The sedge stitch is a simple combination of double and treble stitches and this pattern is soothing and rhythmical to crochet, I made mine in a few hours and I’m sure you can too.

The Callie Cowl is one size but easy to adjust to suit. I have made two versions, the second one uses Debbie Bliss Roma and whilst it is the same width (approx. 20cm) it worked up much chunkier. I used three balls of Roma and I now have a cowl that wraps around my neck twice. Love it.
