When the heather is in full bloom, it announces the end of summer. The scent of herbs and grasses and the colorful variety of blossoms takes us on a sensual journey…

The fine, needle-like leaves and the long inflorescences of the broom heather were the inspiration for this pattern. The arm warmers CALLUNA are knitted with a combination of Rib- and Lace-Patterns for a varied knitting experience. The fit is snug on the arm and slightly wider towards the hand, providing enough hold and on the other hand enough freedom of movement.

You can use all common 4-ply sock yarns or any other light fingering/fingering merino yarns, you can also use lace yarns, double stranded.
Instructions are for 2 sizes, fits most women’s sizes. But the arm warmers can be easily adapted to smaller or larger sizes, how to do that is described in the instruction. The length of the arm warmers is variable, you can easily adjust them to your needs. The pattern is both, charted and written.
