7 granny square (4 rounds) assembly with slip stitches; the granny square is worked “in the round”, with the right-side facing for even rounds, and with the wrong-side facing for odd rounds, so the granny square will be flat.

A simple chain link cord completes this pouch to wear around the neck or across the body.
A version with flap is proposed as well as a more classic version of the phone’s protective pouch.

Experiment, the pocket will be larger or smaller depending on the size of your square.
The diagonal of a square corresponds to the width of the pocket and its length is equal to 2 times the diagonal.
My 2.5” x 2.5” square has a diagonal of 3.5”, dimensions of pouch : 6.69” x 3.43” (17 cm x 8.7 cm), strap : 30” (76 cm)
