Description: A lovely short or long waistcoat or sleeveless cardigan in an elegant but casual design in columns of garter stitch altering wide plaits. The textured surface gives the garment a handsome rustic look. The cables running up mid front and round the sleeve-gabs are crossed differently each side. The collar in garter st gives a nice finish to the cardigan.
The cardigan is supposed to stay open - rather wide open. Worked flat. Detailed written pattern with charts for this beautiful design. It is an enjoyable work.
