Calums Road
♫ The Music ♫
Calum’s Road was composed by acclaimed Scottish musician Donald Shaw to commemorate the labours of Calum MacLeod of the Isle of Raasay who, after being refused council help numerous times, decided to build an almost 2 mile stretch of road by hand – using only a pick, shovel and wheelbarrow to connect their small community of Arnish by road and keep the community vibrant.
