This simple vest pattern is incredibly easy to knit and wear, a great garment pattern for beginners. The back is a garter stitch square and the sides/front is one long stockinette stitch rectangle, both the square and rectangle have a simple ribbed border. The garment takes shape with 2 seams at the sides and a seam along the top back. Holes are left unseamed for the armholes. Square + Rectangle = easy drapey vest!
