Cambré Cowl
Yarn
Option 1: 275 yards (250 meters) of fingering weight yarn
Option 2 (sample): 2 275 yard (250 meter) skeins of lace weight yarn, held together.
Shown in Isager Spinni 26S held together with Isager Silk Mohair 67.
For a more drapey, light fabric, choose a yarn that is a bit slippery (alpaca, or wool with silk), or singles instead of plied. For more stitch definition, choose a denser, plied yarn.
Gauge
24 stitches and 32 rounds knitted using Chart B (two horizontal repeats) measures 4” (10cm) square.
Suggested Needles
Circular needle (16” or smaller) in size needed to obtain gauge, suggested size: US 5 (3.75mm).
Notions
One stitch marker, a cable needle, tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Optional: 8 stitch markers, if it helps you to mark the end of each chart repeat in a round.
