This toy, crocheted with the specified yarn, is 28-30 cm (11-12”) tall.

The lips, tongue and horns are made separately and attached in the process of crocheting, forming the head.

The legs and tummy are also made separately and, when attached, form the body.

The ears and eyes are attached to the head, which is then sewn to the body.

The tail and wig are made separately and sewn on at the end of the process.

The toy has a wire frame inside the legs and the body. You need to install a 2nd wire frame, passing from the head to the tail, as well. This helps to avoid a shaking head when the neck is not filled tight enough. And you can set the camel head in any pose.

For the work you will need:
Cotton, acrylic or mixed yarn - I used acrylic yarn 100g/300m - 1.76 oz/164 yd, about 50 g is required
the main yarn for the body and head - any color of your choice
for the wig, hooves and the tail brush - brown, ginger red, etc., of the same thickness as the main yarn
for eyes - of course, white yarn of the same thickness as the main one or thinner (30 g/130m)
pink yarn for the tongue - a little, the same thickness or thinner
hooks:
the main hook (mine is 3.5 mm)
the additional (smaller) hook (mine is 3 mm)
you need the smaller hook for crocheting the lower part of the legs, nostrils, eyes, etc. (everything is indicated in the pattern)
filler - any of your choice
wire of 2 mm thickness, for the wire frames, you need 1.5 m (or more, depending on your yarn)
ready-made plastic eyes of 14-15 mm (see the page … of the pattern for details)
thick plastic or cardboard for insoles in the hooves - a little
artificial lashes (optional)
glues - PVA and hot glue
sewing thread for marking
strong thread for fastening the eyes, a little
adhesive tape for fixing the wire frame

Tools for the work

In addition to the hooks, scissors, a yarn needle, pins and markers, you will need:

tools for working with wire - wire cutters and needle-nose pliers (for bending)

double-pointed knitting needles for making i-cord (for a tail, or you can crochet it)

disappearing marker for marking (optional)

The pattern includes 29 pages of text and about 50 step-by-step photographs.
