Camillia is a drop-sleeve pullover knit in Quince & Co. Finch. It looks like a simple pullover, but to accommodate the strips in the center, Joji has come up with an unique construction. The strips also makes the relaxed silhouette look more sophisticated and refined. A great project for beginner knitters who want to try a challenge, or for intermediate knitters.

Note
Sweater knit in separate pieces from the top down that are later joined together seamlessly.
The striped bands in the front and the back are knit sideways. The rest of the sweater’s construction starts at the shoulders and grows towards the back and the front.
When all pieces are complete, the left and right sides are joined to the striped bands with a 3 needle bind off.

Finchで編むドロップスリーブのプルオーバー。見た目はシンプルながら、前後に入るストライプを横に編み、身頃を肩から裾に向けて編んだ後、ストライプと合体させる面白い構造になっています。少しゆったり目のシルエットですがストライプのおかげですっきり見えるのもポイント。ちょっとチャレンジしてみたい初級ニッターさんにぴったりの作品です。

Note
セーターはトップダウンで身頃を別々に編んでから, はぎ 目が目立たないようつないでいく.
前後身頃のストライプバンドは横方向に, ストライプバン ドを挟んだ右前後身頃, 左前後身頃はそれぞれ肩から裾に 向けて編んでいく.全てを編み終えてから左右身頃の端と ストライプバンドを引き抜きはぎでつなげる.裾, 襟, 袖は 身頃から目を拾い, 輪で編む.袖はマジックループでも4本 針でも編める.
