I’ve been dreaming of knitting a camellia design ever since I visited Yeosu, a city famous for its camellias. This cardigan is how I always enjoy camellias.

The Camellia cardigan is made using a circular yoke method, where the top section with the camellia flower pattern is knitted first. Then, the rest of the cardigan is knitted downwards in a raglan style.
After knitting the entire body, you open the front with a steek and pick up stitches to complete the button band.
Finally, you pick up stitches to finish the neckband with a ribbed
edge.

While the steek might seem difficult at first, it’s actually not that hard once you try it! Since the colorwork section is relatively short, you can also finish it without a steek.
