Camellia Shawlette is a beautiful crescent shawl with botanical motif. Knit with one strand of fingering weight yarn and one strand of mohair/silk yarn held together, it is a truly elegant piece. It is a perfect accessory to wear all year round.

Yarn: Woollala Sock Merino 75% merino wool, 25% nylon; 420 meters (459 yards)/ 100g (3.53 oz): 1 skein and Woollala KidSilk Lace  72% mohair, 28% silk; 420 meters (459 yards)/ 50g (1.76 oz): 1 skein; both yarns kept together; sample shown in Old Dessert Rose and Innocence colorways;
Or: approx. 420 meters/ 459 yards of fingering weight yarn and 420 meters/459 yards of lace weight yarn;

Needles: 5 mm/ US8 80 cm (32”) circular needles or needle size to obtain the gauge;

Gauge: 17 sts and 28 rows in Stockinette Stitch to 10 cm/ 4” on 5 mm/US8 needles, blocked;
Gauge is not important for this project but it will affect the size of your shawl and the yardage. Make sure you have enough yarn to complete your project.

Other: tapestry needle to weave in loose ends;

Measurements: approx. 145 cm/ 57” wide,  40 cm/ 17.75” long measured from center top to bottom, blocked;
