Camille Cami
Super layerable and cute. Camisoles with lace necklines have been a staple in my wardrobe for a long time. I love wearing them under cardigans, tops with deep necklines, and button down shirts. In the summer they’re also very cute with a pair of shorts or a skirt. The Camille Cami is my bra friendly take on the classic lace cami.
Construction:
Camille is worked from the top down, with double knit straps that won’t roll or stretch out. The front panel is worked after the straps, and then the piece is joined in the round for smooth sailing stockinette.
Hem 1 features a cute little tuck bind off for a discreet edge, perfect for tucking in. Hem 2 features the same pretty lace from the neckline, worked separately and attached with a 3 needle bind off. Cute when worn on its own, or peeking out from under a cardigan or sweater.
Difficulty: Advanced Beginner
This pattern has been professionally tech edited by Hannah Middleton, and test knitted.

Sizing:
10 sizes, graded to fit a full bust of 30” to 66” / 75 cm to 165 cm.
Meant to be worn with 1” / 2.5 cm of negative ease at the full bust.
Finished garment bust circumference: 28.5”, 33.25”, 36.75”, (41.5”, 45”, 48.5”) {53.25”, 57”, 60.5”, 65.25”} / 71 cm, 83 cm, 92 cm, (103.5 cm, 112.5 cm, 121.5 cm) {133.5 cm, 142 cm, 151 cm, 163 cm}
I recommend choosing a size based on your upper chest measurement.
Please see the size chart and schematic in the photos for more detailed garment measurements.
Ideally the front panel fits snugly and is wide enough to cover any undergarments. The upper bust and bust circumferences can be easily adjusted by casting on fewer stitches when joining in the round.
Gauge: 27 stitches and 38 rows in 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on (Larger) needles, after blocking.
Needles:
(Larger) US 2 / 2.75 mm circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge after blocking.
(Smaller) US 1 / 2.25 mm circular needles, or 1 size smaller than (Larger) needles.
2 stitch markers, 2 removable stitch markers, darning needle, scissors, tape measure, waste yarn or stitch holders (optional).
You may wish to use various circular needle lengths for comfort while knitting.
Yarn:
Illimani Yarn Sabri 1, 2, 2, (2, 2, 2) {2, 2, 2, 2} skeins (437 yards / 400 meters per 100 g), 85% Cotton, 15% Alpaca.
OR 425, 481, 524, (575, 616, 667) {724, 764, 808, 866} yards / 389, 440, 480, (526, 564, 610) {663, 699, 739, 793} meters of comparable fingering weight yarn.
Hem 2 requires an additional 42, 49, 54, (60, 66, 71) {77, 83, 88, 95} yards / 38, 44, 49, (55, 60, 65) {71, 76, 81, 87} meters. One more skein will be needed for sizes 1, -, -, (-, -, -) {-, -, 9, 10}.
As with all my size inclusive garment patterns, you can use the code ANTIFATTAX to get 20% off the pattern, intended for sizes 6-10 to help combat the extra costs incurred by knitting larger sizes.
