Knitting Pattern for a Classic Raglan Sweater with a wrapped front part in sizes 1-2 | 2-3 | 3-4 (4-5 | 5-6 | 7-8) 9-10| 11-12 | 13-14 years

Structure:
The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch back and forth in rows and with raglan increases top down. The V neck and the overlapping front parts are shaped with increases. The increase rate gets higher after the sleeves are separated from the body. When the desired width of the front parts (and length of the sweater) is reached, the body is closed to the round to create the overlapping wrap look. Then, the body stitches are bound off with an i-cord-edging. The front parts and the neckline are finished off with an i-cord-edging as well. The resting sleeve stitches are then picked up again and the sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round. Shortly before the cuffs, a bunch of decreases is worked and then, the sleeve stitches are bound off with an i-cord-edging as well. The fit of the sweater is comfortable due to the positive ease. The length is relatively short, but it can be adapted individually. The sweater is designed to be perfect for highwaisted trousers, jeans and skirts or as a layer for dresses.
