This headband is the ideal first double knit project because there is a pattern, but if you make a mistake it will not be noticeable. A true time when you can tell people that it is a design element.

This double knit headband is inspired by my family and their love of the outdoors. When visiting my family in Wisconsin both my nephew and niece had camouflage clothing on. His was traditional green/brown camouflage and hers was pink/brown camouflage. After returning home I visited to my LYS and saw the Brown Sheep Lanaloft colors that reminded me of my families camouflage. The gradient of each skein works well to replicate the camouflage pattern on a double knit headband.
