Summer was coming - and in Minnesota that means that the A/C indoors is set to remind us of how cold it used to feel outdoors. I seriously don’t understand this concept - it’s finally warm out so let’s set the office AC at 65 and watch everyone turn blue again - but I digress. I wanted a little something to keep at the office that would warm me up on those days when the A/C got out of hand.

The pattern is pretty straight forward: You are just alternating between a Moss Stitch and a Lace Stitch. If you prefer it wider, just add sets (5 +11). I’m tempted to redo this in an afghan size. You can block it if you’d like - which will change the dimensions. Personally, I like the 3D way it looked without blocking, so that is how it was measured.

The yarn was a sale (or clearance??) item from Knit Picks, which is a shame because I wish I had purchased more. The photos don’t do the colors justice. It’s gorgeous. I used just under the 440 yards purchased.

This will be a great little wrap when you are sitting around a campfire or out for an evening stroll - or freezing in your cubical. Based on the finished size of the original project, I’m betting I can also get away with using it for a scarf this winter.
