Camping Out
Pattern Description
Every year Jennifer takes her niece and nephew camping. They love to sit around the campfire, tell scary stories and roast marshmallows. And no matter what the temperature is during the day, it’s always freezing at night. About two weeks before the trip, Jennifer decided to knit warm sweaters for the kids. With such a limited time frame, she came to us in a bit of a panic. We helped her choose very chunky yarn and wrote the simplest pattern for a funnel neck, so there was no neck shaping to worry about and no need to pick up stitches in the finishing. She came in after the trip to report that her sweaters were hits and no one lost any sleep because of the cold…just campfire ghost stories.
