This unusual cable pattern is combined with a better known cable. The combination works beautifully in a scarf. The focal cable stitch lends itself to a warm and cozy scarf. Be sure to block it so that the stitches will show nicely. The focal stitch comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney.

This scarf was knit with Fleece Artist’s BFL Sport.

The stitches are both charted out and written out.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This is the ONLY crochet in the pattern -- the optional crocheted border.
