I love quick and easy crochet projects that use up remnant yarn and this is just one of those. This cozy (with its collar folded down) will fit a regular can with base diameter of 2.5 inches/6.4cm. It can also fit a 500ml/16.91 oz bottle of similar base diameter(see 2nd image). The ribbon is removable.

Make one or many in your favourite colors and yarn. Great as stocking stuffers and as gifts :)

For this pattern, you will need to know how to slip stitch, double crochet and join rounds.

I used a “laceweight/fine” cotton-acrylic blend yarn which is 18 wraps-per-inch. This pattern consists of 4 pages and it comes with many pictures detailing different stages of crocheting. The final cozy size will depend on the type of yarn used, the crochet hook size and crocheting tension.
