HAPPY 150 BIRTHDAY CANADA
In celebration of Canada’s 150 Birthday and my 45 Anniversary on the same day, JuIy 1, 2017, I made a commerative sport jacket as a keepsake for my granddaughter.
This gender neutral jacket is perfect for anybody wanting to celebrate their team or school colours or for those who have a favorite sports team they support or just need a casual cardigan that can be embellished.
Construction is simple and there are instructions for knitting the sleeves in the round or flat with short row sleeve caps, both from the top down so arm length is easily adjusted. There are provisions for either knitted or duplicate stitch false pockets and very little seaming in the project. Also included are instructions for both gender buttonhole placement.
The entire project is charted and as an added BONUS, there is an additional blank chart to explore your own design elements. It will be exciting to see different interpretations.
