I designed this simple to knit 12” x 16” cushion cover using worsted/#4 yarn. With just knit and purl stitches, this pattern is great for a beginner who has mastered the basic stitches and wants the added challenge of changing colors.

Instructions are written line by line, no chart to follow, with tips on the use of intarsia - how to change the colors on each row.

The pillow cover has an envelope closure secured with three buttons allowing for easy removal to change your décor or for hand washing.
