The pattern is written as one size but has stretch. If you use another weight wool (eg. worsted) please check your gauge as it will change the size of the hat. As written, the hat is around 21 inches in circumference and 9 inches long. The brim folds over for added warmth. The mittens are 7 inches in circumference and 9.5 inches long. Length can be adjusted.

The hat and mitten set can both be made for under one skein of each colour. The stranded knitting uses two colours at a time.
