Canal Poncho and Cowl
If you purchase the pattern after November 2022 from Nancy, the designer, all of the errata has been eliminated in the pdf. The cowl is also included in this pdf.
If you’ve purchased the first edition of the Worsted book then please download the errata chart here:

This pattern is a sloped arm and shoulder poncho knitted from the bottom up, in pieces, then seamed. The front and back are seamed at the shoulders and the sloped sides, as well as under the armhole opening. The neckband is picked up and worked in a 2x2 ribbing, and folded over to the inside. The pattern comes in two lenghts: cropped and regular.
Owing to the complex combination of intarsia and stranded knitted cables, the Canal Poncho is best suited for advanced knitters. It is highly suggested to practice colored cables with scrap yarn before starting the poncho, to get comfortable with how you carry the threads. The front cable panel is charted. Being able to read charts and knit intarsia is an advantage when working this pattern.
