This cushion uses a mix of intarsia and stranded colourwork. The front of the cushion is charted with only minimal instructions for setting up the colourwork, the back of the cushion has written instructions. Small amount of embroidery required to finish (Millennium Dome guylines)

The fourth in a series of London skylines cushions.

Materials required for cushion: size 3 mm knitting needles, 150g/450 metres DK weight yarn in main colour, 50g/140 metres contrast colour DK weight yarn, (optional - 2 metres pale yellow or cream for clock dial), 3 x 2 cm buttons for cushion back, tapestry needle, 40 cm square cushion pad.
NOTE: The cushion works best if strongly contrasting colours are used.

Finished size: approximately 16-inches/40 cm square

Gauge: 2.5 cm/1-inch = 5 rows and 6 sts over colour pattern

This would also work well as a a wall hanging, if the front panel of the cushion was mounted over card or a wooden board.
