“The Candiac beanie”
“The Candiac Beanie” Pattern is a cozy, texturized knit hat that is perfect for begginers to intermediate knitters. It is also enjoyable for the experienced knitter as well.
This is a quick and easy knit that takes 1-2 hours to complete.
This pattern is one size only; Its meant to fit the average adult female head, but you can adjust it just adding or decreasing rows (for height) or stitches (for circumference). Measurements: Adult: Height 10.5 in./27cm including brim. Circumference approximately 17.5 in./45cm. Materials: *US11/8mm circular needles (for the brim). *US13/9mm circular needles (body of hat). 85g./3oz. or 51y/46m. color "A" yarn (aprox) 30g./1oz or 18y/16m. color" B" yarn (aprox) For this beanie I used two different colors of yarn. Were calling them color “A” and color “B”
I use Loops and Threads Cozy-Roving Wool Yarn for making this pattern, but you can use any #6 bulky yarn of your preference (I recomend Lion’s Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick)
Tapestry needle
US13/9mm DPN’s for decresing (optional)
Pom-pom of your choice
Gauge:
4x4’’/10x10 cm. of stockinette stitch with US13/9mm needles= 9 stitches, 12 rows.
