My sister’s birthday is coming in June. I’ve decided to knit a yarn cake to celebrate. With her favorite chocolate favor and a big strewberry for topping.

Candle and Cake is a fun knitting project. The shape can be switched between a candle and a chocolate cake, as the following photos.

This is a really fast knitting project. I do love to see your lovely cake!

The cake is 6cm(L) x 6cm(W) x 8cm(H) after blocking

The sample used around 15g Holst garn Tides (287m(314yards)/50g, 70% wool, 30% silk), work with 2 strands

The used colors were as follow
1. Candle and topping : Tudor 6.5 g
2.Cake : Mole 6.5 g
3.jam : Chianti 2g
4.Cream : Pecan 2g

1 stitch marker
traspery needle
roving/polyfill stuffing- only used for topping

Gauge
24 sts X 36 rows (10 cm x 10 cm, 4” x 4”) in stocknette
