A christening shawl with a candle flame design along the edge. It can also be made larger by repeating part of the pattern as indicated until the desired size in reached. Finish with a picot hem but you can use another bind off if you prefer.
Suitable for an adventurous beginner or intermediate knitter.
I used 3x50g skiens of Rainbow cotton 8/8 for a christening size shawl so you would need more if you wanted to make it larger.
