I love deep green. I love leaves and I love this stitch, which in green looks rather leaf-like. Unfortunately the candle flames stitch is a little lacey and doesn’t keep out the cold.

Enter the sleeve scarf! The sleeve gives a nice thickness and allows the stitch to “move” in a snakelike way. It’s very eye-catching. A nice way to knit a pattern and hide the wrong side.
