These candle holders are made to cover small liquor type glasses in which a small tealight can be placed. These types of glasses can be picked up inexpensively at thrift stores. I used these as part of the center pieces for the tables at our wedding reception.

The covers are made working in the round with double crochet stitches, using increases to form the base, and then a combination of double crochets and chain twos to create the rest of the cover which was then easily slid on.
