The pattern gives directions for mittens and finger-less mitts. The pattern at the gauge written makes a 9 inch (22 cm) circumference mitten on US size 1.5(2.5 mm) needles. It could easily be sized down on US size 0 (2.0 mm) needles to get a gauge of 10 stitches to the inch (2.5 cm). The main color will take a ball off KnitPicks Palette, but the contrasting colors will take less. This could be a great place to substitute mini-skeins! Sock yarns would also make a great substitute!
