Use 2 colors of cotton worsted weight yarn that are machine washable. The strap is attached with snaps, with buttons for decoration. You could use Velcro, but it usually not yarn-friendly. You can omit the strap to make a washcloth, in case you don’t have a baby to protect from spills. (Of course, as Christmas dinner, I may need this bib myself.)
