These festive mitts will bring a smile to the face of your favorite Santa’s Helper. Fairly easy, with stranded two-color body and green ribbing, they work up fairly quickly. You can also make these in non-holiday colors. Shades of black/grey/white or any colors you want will look nice. (These can also be worn by a man: use size US 6/4mm dpns and light worsted weight.) They will fit an older child through an adult woman. There are no seams to sew. They are knitted in the round on size US 4/3.5mm double pointed needles, bottom up on dk weight yarn.

There is a chart for each hand and written directions also for each hand. You can make them quicker by working without colorwork. Hands are mirror images of each other.

(A note about the yarn: Cascade 220 Sport, one of my favorite all around yarns, knits to a dk (not sport) gauge. In both of my yarn shops we sold it as a dk weight and it fits that weight well. So if you substitute, use a light dk weight.)
