This scarf is both festive and classy. It’s also completely reversible! Knit and purl diagonals echo a candy cane’s stripes. Eyelet candy canes decorate each diagonal, leaning left and right. The scarf comes sized for ages 4-adult.

Yarn: Light worsted/DK weight, 144, {187, 229} yds (132, {171, 209} m).

Shown in: Cascade Yarns, 220 Superwash, colorway 871, White. 100% superwash wool, 220 yds (200 m) per skein. 2 skeins used (sample is largest size).

Needles: One set U.S. 6 (4.0 mm) single pointed needles or any length U.S. 6 (4.0 mm) circular needle.

Gauge: 20 stitches and 27 rows = 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) worked in pattern, blocked.
