Candy corn’s been a fall holiday favorite for more than 100 years. Make it part of your decorating traditions this year! This cute and simple bunting will sweeten up your holiday. Make one, three, five, or more flags. Make them all the same size, or use different sized needles for slightly different sizes.

Gauge, fiber type, and needle size really aren’t important for this project - check your stash, see what you find, and knit a few flags up!

The project shown includes 5 flags in three different sizes (one made with size US 9 (5.5mm), two with size US 8 (5.0mm), and two with size US 7 (4.5mm) needles) and is strung on a rather long piece of i-cord. I used a special tool to make the cord, but it can certainly be knit by hand. Alternately, you could hang your bunting from ribbon or braided yarn.
