Candy Dream Square

Candy Dream Square was designed for Granny Square Day 2022 using elements of tapestry crochet. The playful puff stitches in different colors reminded me of candy and gave the name to the square.

The square is made with a cotton yarn called Catona from Scheepjes and a 3.0 mm hook. The square measures 15,5 cm x
15, 5 cm. I used 20g of yarn including leftover yarn in 3 colours for the candy pops.

You can use any fingering (or other) weight yarn, depending on your project.

This square will make a beautiful baby blanket or a throw! Or what about a colourful pillow with pom poms in each corner? You will find a link to a tutorial on YouTube in the pattern on how to join the squares.
